It’s so easy today to flip on the news and get bombarded with negativity and to focus on all the things wrong with the world today. So today, I wanted to focus on the fact that 2022 might just be the best time ever to be alive.

Think about it. We have all the information we could ever want at our fingertips. You can order anything you want and have it delivered. You can deposit checks with your phone and the idea of a paper map is now laughable.

Not only that, we have radical surgeries and dialysis treatments, cancer treatments and better mental health care. It’s not perfect, sure, but 100-200 years ago so many diseases were death sentences and you probably wouldn’t have had electricity or running water or a shred of the opportunity for personal freedom that we have today.

So make the choice with me today to rejoice in all the amazing advantages we have to being alive in America today instead of being filled with disdain and negativity.
