March is Women’s History Month and it is also the month that features equal payday, the date in which women close the pay gap with their male counterparts from the previous calendar year. In February, just ahead of the month long celebration, we saw the final resolution of the US Women’s National Soccer Team’s lawsuit against the US Soccer Federation regarding inequities between the men’s and women’s soccer teams. As part of the final settlement, US Soccer agreed to pay the men’s and women’s teams equally.
