Ubisoft has made Far Cry 3 standard edition free in the ubisoft store until September 11th
This is an interesting choice as Far Cry 6 release is a month away
Fan theories suggest that Diego Castillo ( son of Anton Castillo, Far Cry 6) is in fact Vaas Montenegro. This theory has been officially denied
Far Cry 6 launches on October 7th

A sad day for pinball [Link]

The Museum of Pinball will be closing its doors at the end of the month.
With its closing over 1,000 arcade and pinball machines will be auctioned off
The collection’s estimated value is worth around 8 million dollars.
Reasons for closing are due to the COVID-19’s impact on public gatherings and visitations
The auction starts this Friday at 3 P.M. and will continue through the weekend will include online as well as on the museum floor

DBD Gets Pinhead! [Link]

Pinhead is live on DBD as of September 7! Players can control the Cenobite as the new chapter is unveiled.
The Cenobite comes with three new perks.Scourge Hook: Gift of Pain, Deadlock, and Hex: Plaything.
With this new chapter release also comes a new skin! Chatterer is now available in the in game store! New chapter price is 4.99. Go open the box.

Intel: Target Acquired [Link]

Intel appears to be hitting the ground running with breakout strategy for Q1 2022, by going right after Nvidia’a RTX 3070 and AMD’s RX 6700 XT as a competitive entry point
Known leaker Greymon55 stated on Twitter that he saw a slide regarding Intel’s first move being being made with their 175-225W Alchemist GPU.
Even though we have known that Intel has been really targeting Nvidia, Pierre Ferragu (Intel CEO) backed this up by mentioning that their GPU architecture is in a place where he believes they can really put pressure on Nvidia for the first time ever
At what end of the wattage power bracket Intel ends up competing at, it will be a new chapter for the market. If they can compete at anything under 220W (Nvidia’s rating for their 3070), then we may even be impressed

CDPR is Still Crowdfunding? [Link]

That’s right! CD Projekt Red wants to crowdfund the new manga for The Witcher: Ronin
The manga reimagines Geralt in the world of Japanese folklore, expectedly, and the bootstrapped studio of CDPR wants your help to make it happen!
The campaign is aimed at $100k to help distribute Ronin to those interested
Although we heard of this project back in July’s WinterCon, I don’t think we expected the several-billion-dollar company to put it behind a $40 paywall on Kickstarter. But wait! If you support it within 24 hours, you get an exclusive miniature of manga-Geralt!
