This week we tried looking at a more recent show, the 2010 Disney XD cartoon Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil. Kick is a 10-year-old Evil Knievel determined to make every part of his life into a cool stunt, regardless of how this conflicts with his family's plans.
Melissa describes scenes she remembers that we couldn't actually watch because only one episode of this show was available to stream? We talk about how this show is still holding onto some stereotypical gender roles while the cartoon landscape around it starts to advance, the suburban lich, and Grenda.
