Episode 2: Investing in yourself, a home birth and boundaries with Amanda Hill.

This week we chat with Amanda Hill, a pioneer of a new landscape for mothers - a place where they are invited to thrive whilst setting their boundaries and ditching guilt and overwhelm.

Amanda is studied in Psychology, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Reiki, and Yoga and combines this to provide life coaching, short courses and other pieces of magic. 

In our interview we chat about what self-care means for Amanda, or Mandy, and how important it is to invest in yourself. Mandy openly shares her journey to home birthing daughter Sophie (who also features on the podcast!)  and how she would spend $100,000 to do it again! She describes her nourishing postpartum period that was meticulously planned and explains the creative burst of energy that she felt after this. 

Our discussion today took us far and wide and left us feeling energised and absolutely empowered. Mandy’s perspective felt like a key had been turned in a rusty lock (aka the old birth paradigm) to unleash a dragon! We hope you feel this also…
