In this podcast, Dr Cristina Ferraris (principal investigator) and Dr Chiara Listorti (speaker) present the SECCO Study, a randomized effectiveness-implementation trial focusing on patients centricity. It will involve breast cancer patients experiencing adverse events related to antiestrogen hormone treatment after breast surgery. The trial will evaluate the effect of multidisciplinary treatment with dietary intervention and manual treatment with osteopathic techniques on improving the quality of life and on modulation of metabolic, inflammatory and immunologic status, increasing patients adherence to oncological therapies.
