This lecture discusses Plato's work, The Crito. In that work, Socrates is about to be executed, and Crito has bribed the guards, arguing Socrates should escape. In this particular lecture we discuss Socrates' views that the rational and ethical life involves living in accordance with principle. We also discuss several principles that Socrates gets Crito to acknowledge.
