This lecture discusses key ideas from the ancient Stoic philosopher Seneca's work, On Anger, book 1

It focuses specifically on the issue of how the emotion of anger and reason or rationality are related to each other. Seneca, as a Stoic, thinks that when the human mind is affected by anger, that keeps it from being rational, and he notes a number of differences between what anger does and what reason does.
