A year ago, bad neighbors moved it... they wreaked havoc by throwing late-night parties, running their clandestine business operations (of who knows what), and even trash-talking about other neighbors, turning all of us against each other. Every morning, they would start yelling at each other, and every evening, they would invite their loud friends. Trust me, I am a man of patience, but this way too much. Of course, I could have stayed miserable, blaming them for my state of emotions (mostly anger), but instead, I decided to use that frustration and turn it into something productive. So, every morning, BEFORE they'd make their morning, yelling routing, I'd get up early and go to work. Then, in the evenings, when they'd go wild, I'd turn up to volume and enjoy the night with my kids, throwing our fun parties. This way, I was getting more done and experiencing more quality time with my family - during the times that I'd otherwise be miserable. This was and still is my countermeasure, my way of using negative emotions and turning them into gold. Now, not only am I not upset with my bad neighbors, but also quite thankful! You, too, should learn to turn your negative emotions and state of mind and something inject happiness and productivity into it. It's all in our minds!
