What’s so Amazing about Love?

There are many attribute s to it; more than we can cover in our time together. So, we will focus on the restorative attribute. From the beginning God love had a promise, purpose, and plan for restoration for you. It is likely that some form of brokenness, deception, and or rejection has touched your life. These types of intrusion leave the heart disappointed, searching for answers and often hesitant to trust. In some cases, we grow desperate for a counterfeit love.  In our brokenness we may seek out comfort that may not be genuine love, but it speaks to our need for comfort, and affection but it’s effect is temporary or perhaps destructive and it leaves us in a even more vulnerable and broken state. 

God’s plan, purpose and promise of restoration

Jeremiah 30:17

But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the LORD, ‘because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no one cares.’
 How do we progress to restoration.

1. Be desperate for Amazing Love- The God Kind of Love

2. Trust the promise, purpose, and plan of amazing love. 

Promise :

Isiah 54:10 Though the mountains be shaken, and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you.

Plan:

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Purpose:
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Accept the amazing love.  People’s treatment of you may not reflect God’s heart towards you.

Romans 8:37-39

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 

38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 

39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
