Jens Jakob Andersen hails from Denmark and describes himself as an active person who loves mountains, nature, meditation, dogs, and numbers. When he’s not wearing socks and sandals you can find him doing short steep running races up mountains while trail running. His love for numbers and analytics led him to analyze over 35 million race results, leading to some interesting findings he tells us about. We also chat with Jens about his company and website, RunRepeat.com, a large independent database for running shoe reviews. Jens shares the difference between a good shoe and popular shoe and strongly believes that finding the best running shoe is a unique and personal effort and that trusting your gut and visiting a running shoe retailer can help. We end our conversation with Jens telling us why he challenges listeners to have one singular goal in running.
