The more things you do in life, the more you have what I call "split-attention" syndrome, which is a killer in the world of productivity.

You try to do too much, then end up not doing enough, then feel guilty and unaccomplished, then anxiety builds and you feel further behind and you fall further and further behind. It's a viscious spiral.

So how do we escape that? Try meditating on a single question: What is the single thing I need to focus on today?

Allow the answer to rise within you. Don't seek it out. Don't try too hard. Just listen to yourself. Trust yourself. You know you better than anyone, and your Voice will eventually give you the answer you're seeking.

Question: What do you need to do today to simplify, clarify and focus on less in order to get more done?
