We are incredibly excited to be continuing the conversation with Nick Kershaw, an avid runner and founder of Impact Marathon.

Nick is the brainchild behind races in Nepal, Malawi, Kenya, Jordan, Isle of Mull and Guatemala. Since 2015, his Impact Marathon races have raised over $1.2m for grassroots organisations, changing thousands of lives and creating powerful stories as he unleashed the power of running across the globe. In this time, he has seen the power of running uplift communities, and empower individuals across 4 continents. From this experience comes a wealth of incredible stories from those he has met along the way: from creating a race on a live volcano, to finding hippos along the route the morning of the race, you never know what Nick is going to talk about, but it is always entertaining and powerful.

In this episode, Move with Gratitude host Mark White and Nick discuss how his life's path gravitated towards creating a business that combined running with fundraising and development work, leaving a comfortable corporate job in order to launch his dream initiative- Impact Marathon, and tapping into that elemental feeling of "aliveness" when organizing races around the world.

Nick is also no stranger to connecting gratitude with movement – find out just how he practices gratitude each and every morning (it might give you the chills even thinking about it).
