Certain provinces have experienced some nasty storms in the past week. Including Manitoba, where a tornado sat on the ground for more than three hours. But in Montreal on a day where only a few clouds peppered the sky a man was struck by lightning while standing under a tree smoking a cigarette. Doctors say he may survive because a passerby quickly came to his aide and administered CPR. Ninety percent of people struck by lightning survive but it can and does change their lives in many ways, including physically and emotionally.
