North Korea's hack attack on SONY corp causes SONY to pull film The Interview starring Seth Rogan and James Franco (and threats to theatres should the film the released this weekend as scheduled). The film had depicted the assassination of the North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un. North Korea denies the attack while U.S. President Obama declares the U.S. will respond proportionately at a time of its choosing. Now North Korea demands the U.S. allow it to participate in any investigation of the hack attack and if the United States fails to do so there will be "consequences."

Meanwhile the U.S. is asking China for its cooperation.

Guests:
David Fraser, McInness Cooper, Halifax, N.S. One of the world's foremost internet security lawyers.

Murray Pomerance, Professor. Ryerson University. Hollywood and film expert. Author of some of the most acclaimed books on film. He's canvassed opinion in Hollywood on this incident for us.

Should Sony have released the film this weekend? Would you have attended? Or would you have stayed away in fear of a terror attack?
