3:05pm: Although NYPD officer Rafael Ramos was buried today, anti-NYPD protests continue in New York. This even though Mayor Bill de Blasio asked for moratorium on protests until after the funerals of slain police officers Ramos and Wenjian Liu. NYPD officers continue to be critical of de Blasio, arguing the Mayor fed the anti-police narrative which led to the assassination of the two police officers. Officers outside the cathedral turned their backs while de Blasio spoke at officer Ramos funeral service.

Guest: Robert Gangi. Director. PROP. Police Reform Organizing Project. PROP engaged in the anti-NYPD protests, writing on their website their objective is in "exposing discriminatory and abusive practices of the NYPD, that routinely and disproportionately affect our city's low-income communities and people of colour." Gangi has written op-ed pieces for the New York Times, Newsday, etc. Driving the anti-NYPD protests in the face of the NYC Mayor calling for a moratorium.

3:20: LAST WORD to Callers. Is it disrespectful to continue with anti-NYPD protests on the day of the funeral of a murdered officer we know now was a very good man and deeply loved by his family? Are the police protests which included chants of "What do we want? Dead cops! When do we want it? Now!" legitimate expressions of public anger at "abusive practices of the NYPD", or something entirely different?

3:30: Last weekend after NYPD officers turned their backs on the Mayor of NYC at the hospital where the two officers ambushed were declared dead I spoke with Ron Miller, associate dean, Liberty University, author of Musings from Uncle Tom's Porch, website: ronontheright.com about Obama, Eric Holder and De Blasio's statements suggesting American cops may have a racism problem. Ron Miller, who is African American, said it wasn't that simple. We ran out of time so Ron Miller is back to explain what he meant.

Guest: Ron Miller.
