Collegiate basketball superstar Ace Watanasuparp once had college kids cheering for him in the bleachers. Many years later, college kids were throwing cupcakes at him in a St. Marks basement. How did this happen? well we sit down and have a candid conversation with Ace. Ace now works in the mortgage industry and is currently the Regional VP of Citizens bank. At age 26, he was ranked the third highest producer in the country. He is also a co-founder of several NYC businesses: Spot Dessert bar, Obao, and Gai. Through the twists and turns of his collegiate basketball career, his foray into finance, and then starting businesses with his cousin, Ace’s story is an example of grit and perseverance, and how to fight the odds as an underdog.
