On the podcast this week we chat with entrepreneur and new Rochester resident Sen Wang. Sen was born and raised in China, where he studied acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine. In 2010, he moved to Portland, Oregon where he worked and learned from a business mentor before relocating to Eugene, Oregon to start his own business, Symmetry Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs, in 2015. This past March, right at the start of pandemic fueled shutdowns in Minnesota, Sen moved himself and his business to the Rochester community, where his wife was already living and working. This September, he reopened his business in northeast Rochester. On the show today we talk with Sen about traditional Chinese medicine, we chat about this journey as an entrepreneur, and understand what his experience was like to re-launch a business in a new community in the middle of a global pandemic.
