Hospitals have taken centre stage in Gaza, with some key medical facilities in the middle of intense fighting.
The World Health Organisation lost contact with the region's biggest hospital - creating concern for patients and staff.
But Israeli officials say they are facilitating evacuations and encouraging people to move south.
