Boy hit with shovel at protest in Auckland

A nine-year-old boy has spent the night in hospital after a stranger bashed him with a shovel at a protest in central Auckland on Sunday.
The child was attending the pro-Palestinian rally with his family.
He was hit in the head twice before an onlooker wrestled the shovel from the adult attacker. Mohamed Soliman, has been with the family at Starship Hospital.
