A northbound lane on Customhouse Quay remains closed this morning after a burst water pipe left around 100 properties without water on Thursday.
Water was restored to Wellington CBD residents and businesses Thursday night.
There was also a second burst pipe in the suburb of Karori which was fixed earlier Thursday night.
Wellington Water acting group manager customer operations Tim Harty spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
