Too little, too late. That's the view of the National Party at the government's plan to cut roughly $4 billion worth of spending over the next four years.
That would be over and above a $4 billion cut to spending sought in the May Budget. National Party finance spokesperson Nicola Willis says the decision to cut spending is, "peak Labour", because the party is choosing to cut spending six weeks out from the election.
