The performance of dairy, seafood and processed food exports is being praised as the reason primary industry exports have exceeded expectations, reaching a new annual record of more than $56 billion. The government is also praising itself, saying its export strategy and new Free Trade Agreements have opened the doors for record overseas sales. Trade and Agriculture Minister Damien O'Connor says the numbers signal a bright future, and show the worst of the economic headwinds are behind us. Federated Farmers acting president Wayne Langford spoke with Corin Dann.
