Police Commissioner on gang patch ban

The Government is progressing a ban on gang patches this week, even though the policy's legality and enforceability are unclear.
The coalition will introduce legislation to Parliament to outlaw gang patches in public places.
The Police Association supports the changes but says they may be hard to enforce, as gang members won't want to give up their patches.
