A warning about the risk of myocarditis following the Covid-19 vaccine was missed by the owner of the pharmacy where Dunedin man Rory Nairn was vaccinated.
Yesterday she told the inquest into the death of the 26-year-old plumber, had she seen the warning from the Ministry of Health, informed consent practices would've changed to include the information.
Nairn received no warning about myocarditis when he got the vaccine on November the 5th and died 12 days later of the condition.
Otago-Southland reporter Timothy Brown has been following the inquest.
