Person dead after assault at Albany bus station

Police are warning residents of Albany to expect an increased presence as they search for the offender after launching a homicide investigation.
A person died from their injuries following an apparent stabbing at Albany Bus Station north of Auckland Monday afternoon.
Another person received minor injuries. National Party police spokesperson Mark Mitchell was close by when the attack took place and helped in the aftermath.
