As the National Party waits for crucial special votes to come through on the third of November, its already started on the work to open coalition negotiations with ACT and NZ First.
The final results will determine what shape the new government will need to take, and what support National will need.
National is in preliminary talks with both ACT and NZ First, and has vowed to keep all negotiations behind closed doors.
