There's been almost 150 reports of sexual relationships between teachers and students in schools in the last six years.
Figures released under the Official Information Act show out of 148 reports, so far 21 teachers have had their registrations cancelled.
But a survivor and a victim's advocate says instances of abuse are likely to be much higher than what's being reported.
