The country's two supermarket giants have been told to loosen their grip on the grocery sector and let other retailers into the wholesale market that they currently dominate.
Commerce and Consumer Affairs Minister David Clark warned yesterday that if that doesn't happen Foodstuffs and Countdown will be forced to sell goods at fairer prices set by the incoming Grocery Commissioner.
