Medical specialists fighting over radiology

It's an extraordinary fight among highly paid medical specialists, with each side accusing the other of putting money ahead of patient welfare.
As investment pours into private radiology, a grouping of powerful radiology companies are taking on surgeons who have begun taking stakes in private practices that do MRI, CT and x-ray scanning.
The scrap is embroiling the High Court, ACC, the Commerce Commission, the professional medical colleges - and includes bitter accusations to the Medical Council.
