Media tycoon and former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi has died. He revolutionised Italian television with his privately owned channels to become the country's most polarising and prosecuted prime minister. Despite his gaffes, sex scandals, and ribald insults, he won over the Italian population and was voted in as Prime Minister three times between 1994 and 2011. Italy's current Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, overnight put aside her differences with Mr Berlusconi to pay tribute to Italy's longest serving post-war Prime Minister. Italy correspondent, Davide Lerner, spoke to Morning Report.
