Cyclone Lola has disrupted the education of more than 15,000 Vanuatu students in the Penama Province.
Schools are working on home education packs for junior students, but seniors will be back in class on Monday before their exams begin in about one month.
The extent of the devastation is still being ascertained, with classrooms, homes, crops, roads, and bridges damaged.
