Rugby supporters, central city residents on election results

Let's recap the extraordinary results from Saturday's election now ... Labour won an incredible 64 seats to National's 35, while Act and the Greens return to Parliament with 10 seats each. Early voter turnout was one of the stand out factors this year, with a record 1.9 million people heading to the polling stations prior to election day - around 69 per cent of total votes. To get an idea of how the results have been received by everyday New Zealanders, our reporter Louise Ternouth headed to Eden Park before the big game between the All Blacks and Wallabies yesterday. One the big stories of the night was in Auckland central, where Chloe Swarbrick defied the polls and won the party's first electorate seat since 2002.
