A man has been shot by police in Northland this morning after shooting a police dog. Emergency services were called to Tangowahine, a rural town near Dargaville, shortly after 9am. The man is being airlifted to hospital. RNZ's reporter, Amy Williams, has been following developments and spoke to Māni Dunlop.
