New Zealander Simon O'Neill has snagged two Grammy nominations for Best Choral Performance and Best Engineered Album in Classical.
The tenor opera singer, who hails from Ashburton, was recognised for his solo performance as Doctor Marianus in Mahler's Symphony No. 8 with the Los Angles Philharmonic Orchestra.
This is O'Neill's third Grammy nomination.
He spoke to Morning Report from an MIQ hotel room in Auckland.
