Prime Minister of Australia Scott Morrison has finally declared flooding in Australia, specifically New South Wales a national emergency, but while he dithered the community stepped in to help. In northern New South Wales, Tim Goegan is the head chef at the Eltham Pub where they have been cooking hundreds of free meals a day for people in need. He told Nathan Rarere the flood came through fast and seeing the areas around him get cut off and people lose everything has been devastating.
