New Zealand First leader Winston Peters has gone to ground.
The party and its leader have crashed out of Parliament after a disastrous election result, winning only 2.7 percent of the vote.
Peters was spotted briefly in Russell yesterday and has now escaped to Whananaki to work out what comes next for both him and his party.
Political reporter Jo Moir has been closely following New Zealand First and speaks to Corin Dann from Northland.
