Now I don't know my ABC - the perilous state of literacy in Aotearoa New Zealand.
That's the title of new report from the Education Hub think tank which examines the reasons why over a third of 15-year-olds are struggling to read and write - and what can be done about it.
The research draws on multiple studies to paint a stark picture of New Zealand's declining literacy rates over decades.
