Roughly one in seven people in the world suffer from migraine and it’s one of the most impactful diseases in the world.

The problem is that migraine is really stigmatized and influences negatively people’s lives, not only by incapacitating them over a recurrent period of time but also by making them feel less worthy because they suffer from it.

Luckily, there are people who dedicate their lives to finding non-addictive types of pain management and to bringing awareness on the second most disabling disease in the world. On today’s episode, my guest is Dr. William Young, the associate director of the Jefferson Headache Center.

Dr. Young has helped people enhance the quality of their lives substantially, through his work. He is a professor of neurology at Thomas Jefferson University and he is very active in the training of future neurologists and a really good guy who knows a whole lot about headache in specific.

So, don’t miss Episode 09 of Rejuvenaging, where you’ll learn the difference between a headache and a migraine and also, why people suffering from migraine are affected in their day-to-day life.
