Elder Derrick Dease is the senior pastor of Solid Rock Holiness Church located in Bennettsville SC. He is known outside of the church as a builder and supporter of fragile families and speaking in conferences and providing training to service providers. He is the son of Overseer Apostle Ervin Dease. Elder Derrick Dease was born and raised in Marlboro County and is the husband of Yolanda Dease and the father of four children. He is a graduate of Gardner-Webb University with a Bachelors of Science in Human Services and a Masters in counseling from South University in Columbia, S.C. He is featured weekly on UPN channel 21 on their weekly broadcast.
Derrick has served on various committees, boards, and efforts in strengthening and improving fragile families. Elder Derrick Dease has been ministering for 23 years and preaching for 26. He is has been invited to preach and teach in different denominations and churches regardless of the race, denominations, or creed. He believes that there is one Lord, One faith, and one baptism in accordance to scripture. He continues to provide consultation and guidance to pastors and aspiring ministers striving to please God in their walk with God and preaching.
