It was as ugly as a Christmas sweater on offense out there. St. John’s certainly has work to do in the making baskets consistently department. 10-1. Let’s finish off the non con string this weekend down in Florida.

St. John’s is 7-0 and they did it without Posh Alexander. It wasn’t pretty but it sure beats 6-1.

St. John’s beats that absolutely sorry excuse of a program from central New York, 76-69, in an OT thriller.  Curbelo with a career high 23 points and Soriano with another absolute monster performance, 19 points and 14 boards.

Get the hell out of here Nebraska. Great defensive performance and a nice offensive 2nd half. Soriano had 18 rebounds. EIGHTEEN. Posh did Posh things. Curbelo was a menace and a maestro (TM). Jones got into foul trouble early but exploded offensively in the second half.

After a slow start St. John’s puts Lafayette away in the second hand. David Jones had 20 points and 4 johnnies scored in double figures.

St. John’s cruises to a 25 point win in their season debut. All five starters scored in double figures and 12 players scored. However 29 turnovers leave a lot to be desired on the execution side of things. On to Lafayette.
