In this episode survivor Bellamy details her story of a sexual assault by two offenders after a night out as a young adult.
Bellamy describes in her story what was supposed to be a normal night out as a young 18 year old woman. We discuss the process for reporting a sexual assault to Police, the process for providing physical evidence and some of the barriers to survivors coming forward and pressing charges against their abusers. This is an honest and raw conversation where we also discuss some of the hurdles of mental health, and seeing your abuser again after an assault has occurred. Bellamy is an incredible woman who is a testament to the statement 'there is life after abuse'.
