This week during "Recess Duty" we talk with Learning Nomad, Kirsten Durward! We discuss her journey through education and travels as well as what limitless learning means to us. We also discuss how might we move towards limitless learning in our own classrooms as well as her work with Toddle. 

Kirsten Durward is a true global nomad who started her journey in international education in a bush school in Northern Kenya at age 3. Nearly 50 years later, between school and work, she has lived in 17 countries and voyaged through over 80. As an independent educational consultant, IB educator, and concept based learning trainer she applies her in-depth experience of teaching, curriculum construction, and educator development in both voluntary and professional practice, working with schools and individuals to support them in taking ownership of their learning and development so that they can support students to take ownership in their turn. Her professional interests span constructivism, inquiry, trans-disciplinary learning, and assessment-based practice, while personally, she enjoys sailing, drama, cookery and generally helping out and hosting!
