In this episode Jacob speaks with Philosopher Chris Ranalli. They speak on his work related to Wittgenstein and Deep Disagreement. Deep disagreements are disagreements about fundamental epistemic principles (FEP) and what Wittgenstein referred to as hinge commitments. Hinge commitments and FEP's, according to some, cannot be given a justification without being circular. If this is correct then one may not ever be able to resolve deep disagreements.
