Today on the podcast we are pleased to have join us, Eddy Badrina of the vertical gardening company, Eden Green. Eddie and I discuss the challenges in food production, redefining “locally grown”, and leadership directed at making an impact among other things.

Over the past 20 years, his career has encompassed entrepreneurial, corporate, and government roles. In 2019, Eddy took over as CEO of Eden Green, which, through its vertical farming technology stack, is changing the way we farm our produce, and feed our communities.

Prior to Eden Green, Eddy co-founded and led BuzzShift, a digital growth agency for mid-sized brands and organizations. Eddy's leadership, strategic planning, marketing, and management experience have also been honed through roles at the US Department of State, the White House, and two other technology startups.

Eddy, a graduate of Texas A&M University, and the Bush School of Government and Public Service, volunteers his time at Watermark Church; is on the board of directors of Seed Effect, an economic development non-profit; Igniter Media, a media production company; and is a past board member of the Great Investors' Best Ideas Foundation Investment Symposium.
