Welcome to the Kavod Podcast, a podcast about the Glory of God revealed through his mighty men of scripture. The Hebrew word, Kavod, is translated in many ways such as honor and respect, but one of the most powerful translations of this word is glory. In Psalm 57, David cries out to the Lord to awaken his glory. It is my hope that this would be the cry of every man’s heart that listens to this podcast.

In this podcast, we will look at the mighty men of scripture and see how they lived lives not for their own glory, but to the Kavod of Yahweh. The glory of the God of Israel. Today, we are continuing to work our way towards the life of David. But one of the back stories to the rise of David as king is the demise of the first king of Israel, Saul of the tribe of Benjamin.
