Hall of Fame inductee, Theodore “Ted” Rhodes (1913 - 1969) was one of the earliest professional African American golfers, paving the way for other professional black golfers such as Charlie Sifford, Lee Elder, Renee Powell and Tiger Woods.
The Ted Rhodes Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization established to advance the mission of educating juniors as well as providing a competitive venue for amateurs and professionals to play golf.
