Seriously, though, we missed you. And even though it's officially Summer TV season, we are chock full of interesting things to talk about. Aaron met hist childhood hero Jim Carrey and ate candy, drank alcohol and hung out with the "Stranger Things" kids. Unemployment isn't all that bad, you guys ...

The Season 7 finale of “Game of Thrones” will be 81 minutes long -- plan accordingly TNT’s reboot of “Tales From the Crypt” has died After two seasons, Netflix has canceled “Sense8” There’s a “Snowpiercer” TV series coming to TNT. We knew this. But now Jennifer Connelly has joined the cast and there’s nothing else we need to know. “Cowboy Bebop” is coming to TV in the form of an American live action series. It’s from Tomorrow Studios, the same production company behind developing “Snowpiercer” and “Let the Right One In” for TV ABC Freeform is making an American version of “Misfits” FOX may have canceled Pitch, but it’s still into Mark Paul Gosselaar. The network has greenlit a new vampire series titled “The Passage” and Gosselaar will play a vampire-hunting FBI agent. FOX renewed “The Exorcist” for a second season -- Geena Davis and the cast who played her family will not return. The story will focus on a new case and dive deeper into the demonic church conspiracy. FOX has canceled “24: Legacy” but is developing more stories in the “24” universe Glen Mazzara is developing a “Sin City” TV series for TV, with former “Sleepy Hollow”  director Len Wiseman on board. Apparently it’ll be an entirely new story with new characters Mazarra is writing. No network attached yet but interest is “high.” Cue Frank Miller rage… now! Brendan Fraser will play an eccentric private investigator named James Fletcher Chace in Danny Boyle’s FX series “Trust,” which will tell the tale of the kidnapping and ransom of J. Paul Getty. Brendan Fraser isn’t going anywhere. Rick Moranis is coming out of acting retirement… kindof. He’ll reunite with his SCTV cast in Second City Toronto for a charity benefit called “Take Off, Eh!” According to a press release, performances will include Moranis and Thomas’ reprisal of their iconic SCTV characters Bob and Doug McKenzie, whose “Great White North” sketches and subsequent film, Strange Brew became cult favorites in the 1980s. Martin Short will interview a soon-to-be-named celebrity guest as his Jiminy Glick character. In addition, fellow Canadians O’Hara, Levy, Dan Aykroyd and Joe Flaherty will join Dave Foley, Scott Thompson and Kevin McDonald of Kids in the Hall fame for the evening.
