On this episode we sit down and talk all things Bone Stress Injuries (BSI) with Nathan Carlson. Nathan is a Physical Therapist and Run coach out of Kansas City where he owns his own clinic called Runningmate PT & Performance. Outside being an avid runner himself he loves to work with runners both from a rehab and performance perspective. Over the years he has developed an interest in how to best manage bone stress injuries with his runners. 


During Part 1 of this conversation with touch on what a bone stress injury is, some of the subjective and objective findings that are important to be aware of, and how you communicate this diagnosis to a client. Part 2 will dive into how to manage these injuries and start to transition people back to running.
