Today we have my good friend Jonathan Munoz joining us on this all-new episode of the PT Profit Podcast. Jonathan is a coach who works with stage performers, and he talks us through how he assesses performers and what makes that different from assessing a standard gen-pop client. In this episode, we also talked about prioritizing performers' fitness over aesthetic goals and what to focus on while training. Sometimes instead of aiming to hit the choreography that they feel is not yet perfect for them, a performer might instead look at honing in on the intermediary steps that get you from Point A to Point B.

As a former performer myself, recording this episode was a treat! There are so many misconceptions that performers tend to live by, so I was pumped to break those down with Jonathan. Performers don't just need to attend classes specific to their skill. Performers are athletes, and so few of them recognize that fact. Jonathan and I talk about what performers can do while in production and during their "off seasons."

You'll get to hear Jonathan and I dive into:
- Things that performers should be focusing and doing in the "off season."
- What approach a trainer should take when training an arts performer.
- What performers should focus in terms of strength training.
